An amazing team building option

Amazing Race Toronto's GPS GeoRally is a technology and navigation-based adventure game using elements of geocaching, a global GPS-based treasure hunt.

Teams receive a handheld GPS receiver and approximately 20 challenges to accomplish in a fixed time period.

Using the GPS and challenge sheet, teams navigate around the playing area making strategic choices to score as many points as possible in the allotted time. Points are scored by answering questions about specific locations around the city, referenced by geographic coordinates and waypoints, as well as by finding physical items hidden in the playing area.

Challenges are assigned point values based on their level of difficulty, the distance to be traveled, the complexity of the challenge, use of specific GPS features, and more.

Successful teams will work together and draw on each team member's strengths. They will strategically plan their team's route based on their strategy and priorities.

Being efficient in their movements and time management and in their use of the technology, participants will get to know their teammates and colleagues in a setting that gets everyone outside and exploring, enjoying an exciting, informative and fun adventure.
